Hubble released the following information about Messier 74 - a galaxy 32 million light years from Earth - as part of its “holiday wishes” message. 3D Heart ScanA new 256-slice CT machine from Philips creates some stunning images that medical professionals can use to find abnormalities and disease. The Rheic Ocean

About 430 million years ago a massive ocean called the Rheic Ocean covered much of the Earth and seperated the land masses of Laurentia and Gondwana. Ohio University geologist Damian Nance and his colleagues are trying to bring more attention to the Rheic in a new book published by the Geological Society of America called The Evolution of the Rheic Ocean.
